Newburyport 37 - Newburyport 37
"CAROLYN F." is listed here as a CUSTOM BUILDER, Newburyport 37. This vessel is very similiar to and sometimes mistaken for the popular Monk 36 and the Albin 36 Trawlers. All three were built in the same ship yard in Taiwan. It is interesting to note that the Mfg. H.I.N. begins with the letters "MON".
The design and interior layout of "Carolyn F." is the typical arrangement for a double cabin trawler with a generous flying bridge. As is typical on the Albin 36 and the Monk 36, the bow has a generous amount of flare.
The salon area has a large L-sette to port and a drop leaf pedistal table allowing the settee to convert to a double berth. A built-in pilot seat is placed at the lower helm by the starboard cabin entry door. The galley is placed along the starboard side in the salon beginning at the back rest of the helm seat. The aft master cabin has a center queen berth with seperate head and shower. The forward guest cabin has a generous V-berth and ensuite head/shower. The walkaround decks are protected by teak hand railings on stainless steel stancheons. The spacious engine room is situated just beneath the salon. The flybridge is large and has bench seating with starboard helm station.
Offered at $82,500 she is easy to inspect at the Marsh Island Marina near Vero Beach, Fl.
